\ufeffMeet Kish<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Activ we want you to feel part of our world and we want you to get to know us a little better, so we\u2019ve started our Biking Heroes Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First up Kish!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kish hails from Bexley and has been part of the Activ team since October 2021, looking after our customers, and managing the website. He also makes sure we have the bikes you want in stock and ready to roll and he is the man for the job – as an elite racer, he really knows his bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kish And Racing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tearing trails since the age of five, he started racing when he was nine and has been shredding competitively for TBW under 23\u2019s. Kish races cross country mountain bike, cyclocross and road, and is a tour de force in all three categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kish was the regional cyclocross champion in 2021 and was the regional MTB champion in 2020. He\u2019s even raced internationally, performing in the cyclocross race the Koppenberg Cross in Belgium and Road Racing in the junior Tour De Assen in the Netherlands. Fun fact in the world of diet and science, Kish NEVER stops eating and his favourite post-ride meal is beans on toast!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He loves a local ride both on and off-road because he loves to explore new terrain. Even a bad day on a bike is better than a day not riding. Kish regularly rides to work which is 45 \u2013 50 miles each way. The man is a cycling machine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kish on Bikes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our favourite cycling rule is that the correct number of bikes we should own is N+1 and Kish is definitely on board with that, he currently owns six bikes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right now, the bike stable includes 2 road bikes including his Cervelo R2 from 2018, one for summer and one for winter; 2 mountain bikes, everyone should have a hardtail and a full suss bike, and 2 cyclocross bikes, one for racing and one for training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kish said nothing will hold a place in his heart like his first chopper with sick universe decals. Afterall, it was the bike that started it all. But his latest addition and current pride and joy is the 2022 Trek Supercaliber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trek Supercaliber<\/a>\ufeff is a full suspension cross country bike which he uses for racing. It boasts carbon everything, frame, wheels, bars and seat post (although that last one is standard) as well as a SRAM GX Eagle group set. This bike is built for speed and is especially good for climbing compared to longer travel full suspension bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slovak road racer Peter Sagan is his cycling hero, and it\u2019s easy to see why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s safe to say Kish is one of the coolest, most ambitious people in the team and we\u2019re so stoked to have him as part of the Activ family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
